A day at the zoo

We took the kids to the zoo. Here's ashton and me in the shark petting exhibit. We saw the komodo dragons, elephants, snakes, seals, giraffes, zebras, etc.

The Lamb Cousins Visit

The Lambs visited for Memorial Day from Missouri. The kids were happy to see them since it had been years. In this picture is L-R Archer, Taylor, Ava, Devin, and Sarah.

Our baby birds

Our little blue eggs hatched and now we have resident birds in our tree out front.

Tiny Tikes' Soccer

Devin just finished up his tiny tikes' season where a parent received a matching shirt and was out on the field with him. He loved it, but if you told him to go get the ball he'd shove the person with the ball out of the way--even his own teammates--and take it for himself. He listens a little too well.

Taylor's Party

So every other year the kids get a birthday party. Of course, I'm always large with child and it never seems convenient. This year was no different for Taylor's party(birthday is actually sunday). He had a few friends and had it in the backyard. It turned out great and dad's scavenger hunt and donut eating contest was a hit.
